52 Sketches...52 Weeks Reveal #35

It's that time again! Time for another fabulous Sketch reveal from 52 Sketches...52 Weeks! This weeks sketch was cause for some fun play on circular action! And as always there is a wonderful prize up for grabs! This weeks prize is donated by Michelle of Stampin' Up. Usually I show the prize here on my blog, but I for some reason couldn't get it to save this week!! Sorry about that. But without further ado, here is Julie Bonner's amazing sketch:

And here is my take on Sketch #35. This is my DD Kayla working on her 'flips'. She spent the entire summer working on perfecting them, and I was just SO very lucky to capture this picture mid roundoff! I absolutely loved this sketch and had a blast working on it, in fact I think I might just do this sketch again!!

Thank you all for stopping by today! Make sure to stop back by tomorrow for a SNEAK PEAK of the Premiere of
JuJu Bee's very first KIT for the new kit club!! And some awesome fun news for what we have planned for the month of September!!

52 Sketches...52 Weeks Reveal #34

It's Sunday and we all know what that means!! Yep! Another amazing sketch by the fabulous Julie Bonner of 52 Sketches...52 Weeks. This weeks sketch allows use of multiple pictures (which I just love) and creative journaling! As with all Julie's Sketches your imagination is set free and the possibilites are endless! And this one is no different.

This weeks winner is super lucky! They will be walking away with a $40.00 GC to Noel Mignon to spend in the online store. How awesome is that?! And all you have to do is complete the super amazing sketch above!

And here is my take on 52 Sketches...52 Weeks Sketch #34. I absolutely loved this sketch and chose to use these pics of my DS. He has recently decided that bath time is now his favorite play time and could stay in the tub for hours if I let him! And of course mommy has to get pics! I used Sassafras for the very first time ever on this LO. The 'me likey' collection had me at hello :)

Thanks for stopping by today and taking a peek at what I have been up to :-)
I hope you all make it over to 52 Sketches...52 weeks and join us with these terrific sketches!
Have an amazing week!!!

Dotty Divas Ad Challenge #2 Reveal

Happy Friday! Today I have a Dotty Divas Advert Reveal for you! This Ad is so much FUN!! So bright and full of life, exploding with color...how could you not pull inspiration from this masterpiece?! What I love about Dotty Divas is the freedom you have to create whatever you want. All you have to do is follow the art that you have in your heart. So what I am asking you to do is grab whatever supplies you have, and follow the inspiration that you immeditely get from this Ad. It can be a LO, an altered item, whatever you want! And then post it over at the Dotty Divas blog for a chance to win a fabulous prize....easy peasy...right?! And so much fun!

For this month's Advert challege I decided to mix it up a bit and go a little out of my comfort zone and created a journal. I am usually a LO only type girl, but here recently I have noticed myself veering towards other projects! This Journal is completely handmade...down to the handcut paper inside. I was inspired by the explosion of colors coming out of the coca-cola bottle in the ad and interpreted that with my paint splatters (so fun) and explosion of ribbons! I love bright colors so this Ad was like heaven for me!

I hope you all stop by the Dotty Divas blog to check out this Months challege and play along! I can't wait to see what you create!

MOSD - Forever Build a Book

Hello beautiful people! I have a special mini album to share with you today. This album is my debut project for MOSD and you can find it on their blog as of today!! So excited :-)

This album is very dear to my heart as I made it to send to my DH who is currently deployed. I just wanted to give him something to look at as a reminder of the love that he has supporting him back home!

On this album I used the fabulous MOSD Build a Book Perfectly Shaped Postage Stamp for the base of the entire book. I just love these Build a Book shapes, they are so versatile and FUN! To adhear my paper I used a spray adhesive which was fast and simple and gave me flawless results. For front title of the book I used a MOSD Monogram from the Stacker Friendship Collection. I added some Glossy Accents to the Forever Monogram to give it a little extra 'pop'. To hold the entire album together I chose to use MOSD Spiral Rings in clear. These rings are amazing!! I just added some ribbon and voila - there ya go!

Thank you all so much for stopping by today! Make sure to check out the MOSD blog to see what the rest of the fabulous Design Team is up to!

52 Sketches 52 Weeks Reveal - Daddy's Hands

I can't believe it's Sunday already! It seems like this week has just flown by SO fast, I wish these long lazy summer days would just last forever! It's a beautiful Sunday day and I have a beautiful Sketch to share with you created by none other than the beautiful Julie Bonner at 52 Sketches...52 Weeks! This weeks sketch focuses on Circular die-cut shapes, and oh what fun it was to play with! I hope that you find as much inspiration in this sketch as I did.

When I first looked at this sketch I immediately knew what I wanted to do with it. The night before my husband Deployed I got a bunch of pictures of him and my DD just sitting on the couch. They sat there for the longest time just holding hands, it touched my heart in a way unimaginable. When I was reviewing the pics a few days later I had the overemotional mommy thing going on. I saw a picture of their hands and just thought of the song 'Daddy's Hands' by Holly Dunn, and I just lost it...tears started flowing and I just had to scrap it! So, needless to say this LO has a lot of special meaning to me. It's my DD Kyrsten and her Daddy.

This weeks sponsor is Scrapbook Kit Club, they are donating an amazing KIT to this weeks lucky winner. How cute is this kit?! And all you have to do is play along for a chance to win!

I hope to see you all over at 52 Sketches...52 Weeks! Have a Beautiful Sunday.

A Late Night LO

It's late Saturday night and I can't sleep, my Insomniac is coming out to play here recently :-) So I decided to share a recent LO I did for one of my favorite challenge blogs that I recently discovered. Now, this challenge blog is definately not for everyone, but I think it's just wonderful, especialy for self expression. Go visit Gutter Girlz and see what I am talking about! You will fall in love with the no boundries type/get dirty/throw your paint all over the place/in your face scrapping that they do over there! For this LO I stayed a little on the tamer side...it's what I was feeling at the moment.

And make sure to...

Go check out the JuJuBee's Blog. Trisha just posted an amazing sketch for you to play around with and I posted a new tutorial on how to make quick and simple ribbon flowers! I will get that tutorial up on my blog within the next few days as well! I hope you are all having an amazing weekend!
