Sometimes I get bored and I doodle sketches in a little notebook. You know the notebook. The one that you keep beside the bed so that when inspiration strikes you can write it down in the middle of the night. No? Just me?! Well, I have a notebook full of mini sketches, ideas, random whimsies, rough drafts so to say. Tonight I got the urge to try my hand at actually turning one into a real sketch...and this is what I came up with! Just so you know...those circles were originally intended to be flowers, but I don't know how to do all the fancy schmancy stuff yet :) But for me this is a big deal as I am definitely not up to par on the inner workings of my computer. hehe. Any who, just wanted to share in my excitement! :)
I do have a LO created using this sketch, although I can't share until 1 May.

ReplyDeleteHi Amy!! Your sketch is awesome and how exciting!!! I don't have a clue how to do this stuff on a computer. I have recently sketched out a sketch that was inspired from an ad I saw at Starbuck's. I plan on doing it some day and posting the process on my blog. I too have an idea book, that I should keep by my bed so I could get my thoughts down and get back to sleep. I love the spread out linear look of the journaling. Can I use your sketch, please? :) I'd love to give it a go and I would post the sketch and link to your blog on my blog!!! Let me know!! :)

ReplyDeleteBTW, I know WHY you can't share the LO that you made using this sketch.....but I've seen it....and it's RAD!!!! LOL
Great job on the sketch! If you decide to do anymore you should definately get with me about doing some for C.S.D.
